The cage features one cold shoe mount on top of the cage and one on the side, as well as multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory-mounting holes. The 3/8"-16 threaded holes feature anti-twist divots.

Access to the camera's controls, compartments, and connectors is maintained when the cage is fitted to the camera. The cage incorporates a raised front piece that helps prevent your camera from twisting, as well as a rubber pad to help protect from metal-to-metal contact. The underside of the cage features both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, as well as space to store the included magnetically attached allen key.
